I was a little apprehensive after reading some reviews. The advertising is only about 3 inches from the top; the way other reviewers complained, I thought it would be down the first 12 inches or so. Adjustment is easy. Easy to take apart and put up. Sturdy enough for me and I'm on the large side. Mine came with a plastic ring that fits well and keeps the cane folded up once collapsed. I see other reviewers said they did not receive anything. Overall, I like it. It will do well if I need it on a vacation coming up.
The handle is very comfortable, soft and wide so it fits the whole palm of your hand instead of just a strip down the middle. It causes the weight to be distributed evenly without palm tenderness when you have to use the cane for support. I added the Hugo quad pod to this cane and really like the stability it gives. That addition does make it a bit awkward to fold up, but for the stability, it is great. My short grandma, under 5', had me order one for her in rose and she says the lowest setting is perfect for her and the rose is a beautiful color. She had tried mine out and it's the first cane she's ever really liked. I got the smoke color so that it will go with more outfits. Both of us love our canes.
The Hugo Mobility Folding Cane is a very nice cane. I, also, have the non-folding variety of this cane, The folding cane, unfolded, is slightly taller than the straight cane. This isn't really a problem, just an observation. It is enough to be noticeable. All in all, I'm very happy with the cane, and would recommend it to any one looking for that sort of cane.
I ordered this cane when I was having hip problems but never had to use it. A friend borrowed it and commented on how she liked the understated color and on how comfortable the handle is. It doesn't make that clicking or clamking noise that other adjustable canes make, would definitely buy this cane again.
Very sturdy cane and adjustable down to 32" is important to me. Also handy when folded for pulling mail out of mailbox while in car. Bright color makes it easy to find when dropped in a dark movie theater.

Cane is stable and folds up nicely. Can be kept in the folded position either with its rigid plastic bracket (long-term), or briefly, using the elastic loop that is snapped onto the end of the strap. I also got a spare cane tip (Hugo 3/4" ultra-grip tip, 731-001) as an Amazon add-on item, after seeing that others had mentioned the cane tips wore down eventually. Grip is comfortable, and long enough for good support.
This folding cane is great. It separates and folds up easily and quickly. It's great for church, restaurants and any time you might worry about someone tripping on it. It feels sturdy and dependable. It's short enough for me at 5'2".
Much more securely with this quality stabilizer.

very pleased with the cane was disappointed due to my hugo mobility quad tip didn`t fit but I found another that works great!!
