These are awesome. One by the bed, one in my backpack, a few on the desk. Comfortable and clear optics! I can see pixels on my iPhone! Tons of colors to match your mood or style of the day.
I purchased the Eyekepper 5-pack in January 2016. First I noticed the screws coming loose so I tightened them on all the glasses with a small jewelry screwdriver and check them periodically. Then I had a frame crack similar to other reviewers. I contacted Eyekepper Global Inc. to tell them about the problem and they sent a 5-pack FREE that arrived in four days after contacting them. I also received an e-mail asking me to not hesitate to contact them again if there is ever any more problems or if I'm not satisfied for any reason. They have a lifetime warranty on breakage listed on the item description in the "About the Product" section. These will be the last glasses you will ever need to buy.

Great set of glasses with some small shortcomings. First on the plus side, you get 5 pairs at a pretty amazing price. Good clarity, no obvious distortion in the lenses, just good reading glasses that work. The temple pieces attach to the frame with a spring at each side that hyperextend a little as needed beyond 90 degrees, so it is a comfortable fit. Springs cause them to stay put once closed or folded. Nothing about them feels cheap, lightweight or poorly made in normal use.
Here are the downsides. I bought these 9 months ago and wear them daily, so I have a lot of experience with them. 3 of the 5 pairs snapped on the frame just above the lens about a 1/2 inch up from the nose bridge area. Same spot, 3 pairs. Obviously this is a weak area in the design. I do not abuse them, sit on them, stuff them in my pocket etc. They just broke in that same spot. I used epoxy to glue them back together and relegated those pairs to home use only. Next issue, also on 3 pairs, the screw that attaches the temple piece to the frame popped out. Not sure if the threads stripped or it if came unscrewed in normal use. No big deal, right? Buy a repair kit at the $.99 store and put a new screw in there. Well, due to the springs you can not. The spring is always at tension, you need some way to pull the spring out to get the screw through it and it is not possible with any method that I could come up with, and believe me, I tried. Surely, they have a jig or a machine at the factory to assemble them. Caveat emptor, buy a micro screwdriver and check the tightness of those screws when you receive them and periodically thereafter. Maybe a drop of crazy glue or epoxy on the underside of the screw to keep it in place.
Finally, the plastic used to make the lenses is optically clear, but scratches easily. You have to use a lot of caution to ensure that you don't set them down with the lens against the table or you will get round scratches right in the middle of the lens, right where you look through, rendering them useless.
Having said all of that, 4 of the 5 pairs have hit the trash after 9 months- the only pair I still have is the shaded sunglass pair, because I rarely use them and they live on a shelf. The reason I'm back here updating my review, is that I'm going to buy 5 more pairs. Even though I got less than a year's use out of them (2 1/2 month average per pair), I still like them and will use what I learned with the first set to hopefully get more life out of the second. Hopefully my experience will help you in that regard as well.
Be careful with the back button while ordering. I ended up with a box of 1.50 because when I went backwards to look at something else on another order of them to make sure I had the right vendor I didn't realize that it changed the sizing back to what the original offer on the screen was live and learn other than that EXCELLENT quality. I need them to be normal size but able to accommodate a slightly wider head circumference.I'm female my baseball caps have the Velcro set all the way to the end but very short from top of head to tip of nose . Having said that I do not believe that a larger headed person would find these comfortable as they are just average size fit and are listed as a medium to small frame for men but they're absolutely perfect for unisex. they don't look Prissy or to boxy.., perfect size lens I have large eyes and they cover from top to bottom of my Orbit .. I was sliding them up and down from the top of my head to eyes, I do that about 30x a day at least, and of course I dropped them several times a day..... So far no cracking or splitting. The plastic on them is quite thick the lenses are good and sturdy ...so far no scratching. The tinted ones are great cross between green grey blue very neutral. Not to dark . I use the tinted ones a lot indoors to read my kindle on my phone with. The bright lights on the phones and tablets hurt my very pale eyes even if they're turned all the way down so I use the sunglasses to read with now.
First off, I bought these for my husband who has a tendency to break or lose his reading glasses on a weekly basis. These were just the right price, for a pair of 5 no less. They are pretty stylish for being so cheap. I did not like the two silver bolts that are visble on the left and right side of lens on the frames, but they are actually only really noticeable when your up close. My husband says the quality is comparable to his Foster Grant reading glasses, which are easily $25-$35 for one pair. He loves that they don't have nose pads to tangle up in his hair when he puts them on his head. The spring hinge is a bonus - he has a wider face and the spring helps to fit glasses to his head without stretching or breaking the arm off. Smudges are difficult to clean off the lens, but the quality.
Pros
- spring hinge
- Sleek look
- Affordability and money back guarantee
- No nose pads
- great quality and able to see much better
Cons
- lens smudge easily and difficult to clean
- bolts on sides of frame make them look
cheap
The pros outweigh the cons. These glasses are highly recommended for anyone who is constantly in need of a pair of glasses because they've either lost a pair or broke a pair ( my husband) ! Hope this helps!

CARE
To avoid damage, never clean your reading glasses with paper towels or clothing or alcohol, and also avoid using household detergents or soaps. While a few mild soaps don't harm lenses, today's extra strength soaps are powerful enough to slowly disintegrate lens coatings.
These reading glasses arrive in 13 days from the time I placed an order with Amazon. These came from China so 13 days is pretty quick from China to Hawaii. These reading glasses are cheap but look sturdy at the same time. The spring loaded hinge seems strong and hold on my head well. I read the negatives from Amazon reviewer before making a decision to buy. Most said that the hinge screws eventually falls out and impossible to put back in the hole due to a shift in the spring inside mechanism. The other negative was that the frame eventually break above on the lens and may be caused by stress on the arm being pulled back too far? I don't know? What I did to prevent the screws from falling out is that tighten up the screws with a mini screwdriver just so they are snug to prevent stripping the thread hole. Then I applied a spec of Gorilla glue (mixed with little water per instructions) into the screw area so that the screws don't fall out. They seem worth the price at $3 a piece as long as the frame does not crack on me. The quality is not too bad and looks semi solidly built due to the crack frame cases. This is my 2nd day wearing them and so far it's working great and feels very comfortable on my head and eyes. If it breaks, I have 4 more to go. Only time will tell how long they last. The lens and frame are made out of plastic and does the job. It looks kind of like Clark Kent (Superman) glasses but that's not a bad thing. If you have a eye glass case, that would protect the lens from getting scratches if left out lying flat on lens or near object that may deflect off the lens. To me they are worth the $3 each or $15 for 5 price with free shipping. Just gotta be careful to get the most miles out of these cheap reading glasses. I'll update later if I find these are breaking on me by itself like others posted. For now, it's all good!!!
I finally had cataract surgery on my right eye after having it done 2 years ago on my left. I no longer have to use prescription glasses to see distance so I am free to drive my car without them. I use readers for small print, such as labels at the grocery store and bills from creditors. These readers, at +2.00 are perfect for computer work. I like that they are full-sized lenses since I have no need to look beyond my screen. For reading small print on labels and bills, the smaller framed readers work so that I can still see over the top of the frame at distance, if needed. As other reviews have stated, these glasses are of sturdy construction and they sit very comfortably on my nose without nosepads. I also appreciate the shaded pair which comes in handy for when I'm out taking photos in the bright sun...I can see the small display screen on my camera perfectly! I expect these 5 pair of readers will still be going strong years from now as long as I'm not a klutz and drop them (the main reason I like getting 5 pair at once)!
Well made with classic styling. I have used "generic" reading glasses for decades. One of the best things about them is when you lose a pair or scratch the lenses, you just get another pair to replace them. I have them located everywhere in case I forget to bring mine with me. A set at my computers, for TV viewing, my cars, my work shop, patio ... etc etc. Very inexpensive compared to what it would cost for that many pair of prescription eye wear with the same power of lenses (1.50 for me). I like these especially because of the nose pieces. For some reason, when I buy other brands, they come with "wire" type nose guards that, after a while, bend, break and fall off. Nose guards on these are molded into the frame. The springs in the earpieces are also nice when fitting the glasses on your face. They're lightweight and comfortable. The value on these is VERY good. Normally a pair will run on an average about $5.00. You get 5 Pair for approximately $18 ($3.60 / pair). Great value, good looking and inexpensive. HARD to beat :)
These are exactly as described. Plastic framed reading glasses.
The style is very neutral and simple (mens frames), with one pair of shaded/sun glasses style for outdoor reading.
The frames and hinges are stiff enough that they fit well and don't seem floppy. The lenses are clear and sharp with no noted fishbowling or such.
I bought the 5 pack and put a pair in all the obvious places around the house (den, bedroom, kitchen, Bible bag) and they are perfect for that.
If I lose, break, or otherwise need more reading glasses, I will likely purchase this set again.
I LOVE these glasses. Super comfy, Great value and they are very clear and crisp to see out of! I will be ordering more soon as I can!
They fit well, and I get so many compliments on them. I love how they don't have those nose piece things that mess up your hair too! I'm telling you, these are the best I've found on Amazon!!
They also provide great Customer service which I appreciate!!
Thanks again!!
Geo
