These are the same packets you get in hospitals with food to wipe your hands clean for any reason. I love the smell of purell for some reason and these are not dry. You have plenty of time to wipe your hands thoroughly and they are wet with the sanitizing solution and they dry down within 10 seconds or so. It's quick and doesn't dry out your hands too harshly like some other antibacterial solutions can after a while. You get a small box with 300 thrown in, in groups of 4 with perforations (obviously), and it is the right size box to shove that many in there. Am happy with the product, and will probably have these for a while, it's come in quite handy instead of having to get up and wash my hands all the time after petting my dogs, or touching dog treats or food, or other random stuff that leaves a film on your hands. Will repurchase when I run out.
I used to have to pilfer alcohol wipes from my local Chick-Fil-A b/c all I can find in stores is "alcohol free"...benzoconium chloride (or whatever the chemical is) isn't going to kill everything I want off my hands when it's time to eat and I can't go wash my hands, thank you. SO glad I found these!
Seems that most single use hand wipes are transitioning to different types of formulations, away from the potentially 'harsher' alcohol to other substances. However, sometimes you just want the full confidence that an alcohol based wipe can give you when dealing with really dirty situations or potentially more serious germs.
I prefer the Germ X wipes but they're hard to come by now and a fair amount more expensive. It was a great option when they were sold at a local big box store. These Purell wipes are quite a decent alternative. They're large, unlike many other alcohol wipes, sold in a large pack, and very affordable. We stash these all over the place so we'll always have them handy for the family.
Germophobe? Always eating on the go? Visiting a foreign country where washrooms are few and far between? Light traveler not wanting to pack sanitizer into 100ml bottles? Then these wipes are for you. If you receive a fresh box, the wipes are super moist and juicy. Be sure to store in cool dry place, and don't keep them in storage too long -- they have a tendency to dry out.
I like these wipes way better than the larger packs. I prefer to only carry a small bag with what I’ll need for an outing and these wipes mean I don’t have to tote around a bottle of hand sanitizer or a larger pack of sanitizing wipes to use when I have to change a diaper. Rachel one is small and I have yet to find more than two or three that were dry in the several hundred I’ve used which were purchased both online and from the grocery store.
The wipes themselves are smooth but get the job done. They’re not really for cleaning, just sanitizing. They have enough on them to use both before and after a diaper change he or for two people to each use the same wipe. I’ve even shared the same one between myself and two of my kids. If there’s nowhere to throw it away it can be put back into the packaging to the thrown out later.

Description
PURELL Sanitizing Hand Wipes 9020-300-ECIN are antimicrobial premoistened hand wipes with 62% ethyl alcohol to help reduce the number of germs on hands and remove light soils. These 6.5 x 4.5-inch wipes are individually wrapped and folded into 2 x 2-inch tear-open packets for portability and to retain moisture.
I always have a few to take on the plane with me when I travel. I used to get sick about a week after business travel, and since sanitizing the arm rests, pocket, tray & tray holder clip, etc., and my phone, I no longer get sick when traveling. I did a test (I used to travel a LOT for work) and there does seem to be anecdotal evidence that, at least for me, they work. I like that they don't have any purfume-y smell. I fold them right back into their little packet and the flight attendant disposes of them when they collect the trash.
Pros:
- No filmy feel on hand after wiping
- Doesn't seem to have a scent
- Basically alcohol wipes
Con:
- Makes hand feel dry after a few uses (semi-consecutively)
- Texture of the wipe is not soft, but does it's job (like wet ones)
Read in other reviews that they received dry ones.....I randomly tried a couple of them and they all were plenty moist.
I don't know why it's so difficult to find fragrance-free hand wipes in stores, but I was thrilled to see these on Amazon. I never know what I'll have an allergic reaction to, and so I don't dare use soap in a public restroom. I just stick a sheet on these in my purse, and I know I'll be able to have very clean hands after using the toilet or eating out of the house.
Excellent deal on these packets which I prefer over liquid so I don't have to remove from my bag when clearing TSA. So much sanitizer in each packet that 2 people can easily clean their hands from a single wipe. Wipes are larger than some other packets I've bought in the past yet each packet is just as tiny as the smallest I've had so they fit really well even in my smaller walking purse.
These are great for carrying around. A family member has a potentially fatal illness, and we're operating on the abundance of caution doctrine hereabouts. I have these in my purse for when we have to go out for treatment (think of me as the chauffeur and pack animal all rolled into one), or other appointments. The foil pouch keeps these nice and moist, however, they are very hard to unfold and rather thin, thus I've deducted one star.
