I wish these were available by subscription. This product has allowed me to have a normal life again. I no longer have to worry about getting violently ill when I dine out or go to a gathering. I had a severe sensitivity that left me with either horrible stomach pain or vomiting and occasionally even hives. Now, I can eat pretty much whatever I want. It's made shopping and cooking a lot easier too! While it can get tedious taking a pill every time I eat, it sure beats the belly ache that I'd get without them.
My daughter is lactose intolerant, but she loves her ice cream and milkshakes! Needless to say, she goes through these tablets like water. The chewable type, in a tolerable flavor, is hard to find as it is, much less a large pack which we desperately need. We can always count on Amazon to provide The Biiiiiiggg Salad (for you Seinfeld fans)! We buy 3 boxes of the 60 pack at a time and the price is better here than anywhere else. The vanilla twist is the most tolerable flavor of the chewables. Would definitely recommend buying them from Amazon if the need to buy in bulk like we do.
Been using these for a long time and haven't found anything I like better. I'm lactose intolerant (obviously) but these are kind of a miracle in that I can simply take one whenever I want to have dairy. They simply contain the enzyme that helps you digest dairy products and have a nice flavor. I've tried the cheaper knockoff chewables, but I don't mind paying a little more for these as they taste way better and are softer to chew.
We lactose intolerant people invariably love and refuse to stay away from dairy. The struggle is real.
These tablets don't always reduce symptoms completely, but they can make a world of difference.
This works amazingly well, although my granddaughter doesn't like the taste. She prefers the tablets you swallow instead. These are a bit chalky but one tablet keeps me from having any symptoms from dairy products. I suggest you drink water or some type of liquid after you start chewing these, and don't breathe in through your mouth while the tablets are still being chewed or you might get the powder residue in your lungs.

Lactaid chewable tablets literally changed my life! I can eat all dairy products now, as long as I take one of these babies. I “Subscribe and Save” to them. Take it with your first bite of food (which I actually do—the taste is such that it’s not even noticeable), and then you should take it again if you’re still eating dairy after 30 minutes or have something else dairy more than 30 minutes later. Also, if you’re eating a ton of dairy, go ahead and take two, just to be on the safe side.
They seem to work just like any previous lactaid product, but my 8 year old child will no way swallow a tablet or pill, so the chewables are his only option and he takes it no problem. He even looks forward to taking the chewable because somewhere in the deep recesses of his mind he must think he is eating candy. We are not trying to hide from him that he is taking something he needs. He's too smart for that.
These are the bigger pills the size of a nickel, but chewable and vanilla flavors. I feel like these are more convenient for on-the-go use, to have with you in when dinning out, or going to an ice cream stand, stuff like that. I also have the smaller pills that are also fast-act but I would use those more for when I eat at home or at work, because those I like to take them with a little water.
this product is great! i have a hard time swallowing pills so having a chew-able option that tastes splendid is well worth it. I love my cheese, so doing without is not an option! it does suggest eating a good time before the thought of ingesting dairy, which is not hard to manage.
Work great.. and no chalky taste....Just vanilla tablet that you chew up just as you're delving into the hot fudge sundae. I like that they come individually wrapped so I can carry one or two in my purse for the occasional ice cream cone or unexpected dairy treat.
