My wife recently had a foot surgery and after they removed the stitches, they rewrapped her foot with a 2" elastic bandage instead of something that was wider. As it turned out, the 2" was just two narrow and barley covered her foot. So I went to amazon site and saw the GT 3" and had great reviews. I bout four 2 packs. They arrived in 2 days and my wife used them and she loved them. They were just like the ones that she got from her surgeon except this is 3" instead of the 2" they gave her. My wife said they were nice and had just enough cushion to protect her surgical area. She loved the fact that they came with the self "HOOK" (and I don't know why they call it Hook when all it is are a strip of velcro that keeps the end in tack instead of the old hook clips which it comes off every few hours to days). These are the best because you don't have to worry about loosing those hook clips. Once you loose the clips, the bandages are pretty much useless unless you go out and buy a pack of 50-100...... Then what, it will take you years to use them all. This is the best cotton elastic bandage with the "velcro hooks" out there that's what the physicians use. Plus, if they get dirty, just throw them in the washer and let it hang dry. I am definably buying more of these in different sizes for my emergency supplies for home and my Bug Out bag in my backpack I keep in my trunk of my car. Highly recommended.
A good wrap for a bum foot (broken foot bone, in my case); could also be used as ankle, etc, too. Quality product with velcro at both ends to help secure the wrap. But the Velcro pad at the starting (either) end, if used on a foot wrap, can be a bit uncomfortable in that spot. So I cut off that small end and the wrap works nicely on my busted foot. A plus side is that, with my injured foot and a wrap to show the injury, my hubby has been hauling the laundry basement to second floor and back for past week or two with more to come. Maybe I'll need to keep the wrap a bit longer? Just kidding. Hope this helped you decide either way.
I have had one of these for years; its been used and washed so many times that it has doubled in length! Its great for sprained ankles! The 3" wide bands cannot be found anywhere near where we live, so I was delighted to find them on Amazon. Most recently, I used my old one to protect stitches and staples on my dog after his surgery (I wrapped him with it prior to putting his harness on him). When the Vet saw it, he instantly asked where he could find them for his other "patients". The Doctor said he has not been able to use the bands with the metal clips because of the risk of the dogs eating the clips, but the velcro works beautifully!
I was stoked when I saw what it had Velcro at both ends of the bandage which is a huge jump forward from old Ace bandages with the crappy steel clips that always got bent, lost or broken. These bandages are easy to deal with one-handed because it's possible to Velcro it on the first pass insuring it's snugly in position. Velcro is well-stitched into bandage and faces the same direction on both ends for more comfortable fit and no irritation.
I have chemical sensitivities and do not tolerate ACE bandages. I was very pleased to find cotton bandages for my funky knee, especially when I found they only needed one washing (in a lingerie bag) to be fine for me. I love the self-attaching ends and the fact they aren't a mile long like the last bandage I tried that took an age to roll up. I just wish I had bought the 4" wide ones. I think these 3"ers would be better for smaller joints than my knee when it gets swollen. Gonna go stick the wider ones in my cart right now.

Product works just as intended. One thing I hadn't realized was how long this bandage was. I originally bought it to wrap around my dog's injured leg; however, the product is much too long, I could have wrapped it around her chest several times. Other than that, the product is very nice. I believe it would work well on an average size adult, but might be big on a smaller person or child.
Works like a champ. Love the two Velcro attachments at the front and back of the bandage. Why in the world they don't sell this in the local stores I have no idea. The only kind we can find locally have the small detachable metal clips.
These bandages are great. I had foot surgery and needed to wear one everyday. They fit well and work as described. It's a much better deal to buy these on Amazon than it is to buy at a pharmacy.
I was happy to find this brand on Amazon. My doctor sent me home in one of these bandages and it took awhile to find this brand to purchase. It is so easy to use and the closure holds well. It washes well too. I get the right amount of tautness and yet it is stretchy and comfortable. Thanks!!
These are the old style that can be washed and will last for many uses. Don't waste your money on the new and cheap quality plastic variety.
