I've been using regular tiger balm for years and I was happy to find this cream product. I know it says "neck and shoulder rub", but it works very well on my sore calf muscles.
It's also not as harsh on sensitive hands when applying. (I had to wear gloves when using the original waxy balm because my palms would get red and itchy otherwise.)
You don't want to get this stuff on your face or in your eyes though. It will burn like crazy. Wash your hands immediately after applying it if you are in the habit of rubbing your eyes!
The scent is strong, which some people might find disagreeable. But it doesn't have the overpowering camphor-like smell that the original balm does.
I have been looking locally for this product for weeks. I don't remember where I bought the last tube, but nobody carries it in stock in my area. Tiger balm has always been a go to for me - this lotion provides almost instantaneous relief from my neck to lower back. I actually like the smell, but it fades very quickly so you don't walk around smelling like you've bathed in menthol. I highly recommend this product.
Its really easy to used this loose-lotion tiger balm. Spread it on semi-thick to get the relaxing balm you need.
Super fragrant, great for opening up your sinuses while you sooth your muscles.
If you need relief, use the original balm, it will work better. If you use this, lay it on thick.
I can't live without this stuff. Relieves my neck and upper back pain better than any other products I've tried. It smells for a while then slowly dissipates but the smell is worth the relief. Relief does not last for 6 hours like it's supposed to but no topical analgesic ever does. I've been using this for years and will continue to forever
Really works! I have tried Emu, other brands of creams for pain relief and nothing has worked for me besides this stuff. I heard of this from my friend...her husband was in the military and he used this...so i use it and gave to my father n law who had pains in his back. He loves it...i have stuck to this rather than wasting my money with stuff from in stores. Definitely recommend!

Have been using Tiger Balm for years, my go-to for achy joints. Tried the shoulder rub about 3 years ago and it is a great product, won't be caught without it. Even the scent is soothing.
I initially bought this cream at Walgreens, desperately trying to help my mom with her chronic back pain. I got this one and a few others so she could try them all and see what worked best. This one did the trick. Even though it doesn't precisely smell like roses, the ingredients are very powerful and within minutes she feels the relief. Also, my grandma fell a few weeks ago and the pain in her arm wouldn't go away, and this has been a tremendous help for her. It was a no brainer for me to buy some more, and this 2-pack is a great value. Totally recommend!
The Tiger Balm Neck & Shoulder Rub worked wonderfully for its intended purpose. My wife had an area on one of her legs.
She decided to try the Rub, and it was a significant improvement in reducing the pain. It should be fine, in my opinion, to
use on other parts of the body for pain relief.
