UPDATE: changed from 2 to 4 stars (but only when auxiliary retaining clips are used), and revised text extensively.
THE MAIN ISSUE: my wound-care doctor and home-care nurses believe highly in this product, but it requires an auxiliary means of retention. Thanks to some very-smart home-care nurses (much smarter than this guy) we've found a solution to the lack of a proper retention means for this product. This product is supposed to be taped to hold it in place, but that just does not work.
WHY TAPE DOES NOT WORK: wound-care specialists state that this product is to be taped to hold it in place. Apparently the designer of this product has never heard of hook & loop fasteners (such as the brand name Velcro). I tried five different medical tapes, some quite sticky, and none held for more than a few hours. I tried SurePress right out of the box, and after being laundered once (cold wash & rinse, and air dry). Nothing sticks well to this product.
A PROPER RETENTION MEANS: we've found that Ace-Bandage-style clips DO work well on this elastic compression wrap (see links below for the products we bought). These are the newer style clips from Ace in that they're no longer one piece of metal but are two pieces of metal with a small piece of elastic between them.
IMPORTANT NOTE: you have to put a long piece of two-inch-wide fabric tape on top of those clips to hold them securely in place to prevent them from coming off (such as when moving in bed). We use either 3M Medipore or Medline Medfix cloth tape in the 2 inch width to hold the clips, but similar tapes 2 inches wide should work well. If you use a plastic medical tape the clips will stick to that tape too well, and thus they'll be difficult to remove from the tape afterwards.

ANOTHER ISSUE: to me, the yellow-squares design (which indicates the proper stretch tension) should be on both sides. That's because many nurses apply rolled bandages and gauzes in a direction that some might call backwards, i.e., they unroll it as they apply it rather than applying it in the natural unrolling direction. This product should really be made to accommodate both application methods.
IN CLOSING: as always, thank you for reading my review, and apologies for it being so long.
It was what my Doctor ordered and I have been able to wash them.
leg wrap
It's ok. Arrived in Italy in time.
You folks need to give better guidelines with regards to your shipping policy. It is both confusing and misleading!

My husband had an ulcer on his leg and needed to use compression bandages to help with the healing. We tried several different ones that didn't quite give enough compression, until this one. We ordered one to try, and it arrived relatively quickly even with it coming from England. This bandage was easy to wrap with, easy for me to get the 50% stretch the doctor recommended. After using this bandage for a week, we ordered more. These wash very well in a lingerie bag.
I've had wounds many times because of poor circulation and this wrap is great to apply the pressure that is needed. It helps alot
Fast!Awrsome fast shipment ! Would recommend it! Easy to work with! !!!!! Would order again and again! Thanks! Easy work
