Great ball chair! I was not expecting much, in terms of quality, when I ordered it. However, it surprised me. Very well made and worth the price. Looks great in my office. It's easy to move around with the built-in handle. The cover makes the ball look and feel like a real piece of furniture. Overall, really happy with the purchase.
I absolutely love this ball! It comes with an easy-to-use hand pump and an instruction booklet. So it was pretty easy to setup. The ball cover is very high quality - it's similar texture to a wool coat. It's sturdy enough that I'm confident that my exercise ball won't get punctured easily. So comfortable to sit on, too! Great buy.
This ball chair is awesome. I've been using a yoga ball as a chair for quite some time now and if you think sitting on a ball with the cover is the same as sitting on a ball without one, then you have to try this product. Right out of the box you can feel a difference. I've now been using this one for a few days and I'll never use a plain yoga ball as a seat again.
The cover is very high quality and feels much more expensive than you would expect. The fabric helps hold you in place and keep you from sliding around at all. the handle makes it easy to move around without having to use both hands (important if you ever need to move it and your laptop from one side of the room to another. This is especially important if you use modular seating in your workplace.
I was curious to see if the stitching and seams on the ball would look symmetrical and I'm thrilled to see that they do. In the room, this ball looks more like a piece of art than a chair.
All in all, you can't beat the product for the price. There are other covered ball seats out there, but they don't provide near the value that this one does.
Came with pump, inner inflatable ball, and the sheathing on the outside that you sit on. Just make sure you keep realigning the inflatable inside the sheathing as you pump it so that you don't have to deflate it to adjust it. I have only had to inflate it once, until I figured out how much inflation I needed. Does not lose air. If you need more height, add more air. Less height? let some air out. I am 5 feet, 5 inches tall, and I transitioned away from my hydraulic office chair, which I often changed my seating in throughout the day. Sitting on this balance ball has increased my core strength tremendously. When you sit down on anything, whether this balance ball or a chair, put the back of your index finger in the arch of your lower back; if that arch is not maintained when you go from standing to sitting, you need to re-assess your posture(try sitting on front/back of ball. middle, etc. until you find a combo that maintains that arch with the most minimal core or back muscle utilization so that you aren't having to focus on sitting. Your spine is strongest when you are upright and standing straight. The spine has curvatures in it that "by design", must be maintained; otherwise, you will shorten its longevity. We are constantly assaulted by gravity; might as well try to be healthy with your posture so that you don't spend your latter days in unnecessary, constant, back pain. In most cases, if you feel pain while sitting or operating a mouse/keyboard at the desk, don't just assume that is normal. Listen to your body and do research so that you can change whatever incorrect, 'offending' posture i hurting you. I strongly advocate the $15 Anker, USB side-ways mice; I have bought them for family and coworkers. They take a bit to get used to, but if you study 'natural position' and 'repetitive strain' injuries, you will see that being outside your body's natural position and having repetitive movements will end your computer career early, along with agonizing pain. "an ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of the cure", so go ahead and spend a few bucks to save you money and inherit the priceless gift of health while you're at it, by taking care of your posture. If you say this balance ball doesn't work for you, keep in mind that proper sitting is a skill and takes time to understand. I am a drummer; it took me 3 years just to figure out how to sit down (on a drum throne). balancing 4 limbs, mind you. I could spend all day talking about posture because there is much on the topic; I only urge folks to take it seriously, and take the time to(learn how to) do it properly.
This is my second "office chair" ball. The first was to small particularly since it kept losing air. Just didn't have a good seal. It was not a Pro-body ball. I choose the Pro-body ball primarily because of the cover, thinking it wouldn't be so slippery. Unfortunately the cover's seams split during ball inflation as you can see in the picture. I contacted Pro-body for a replacement since the ball is great, much more stable and comfortable as a desk exercise. Instead of a replacement cover, evidently its a package deal, they immediately refunded the full purchase price. They said the covers on new balls are made with stronger seams. Mine is working with the split seams so I haven't tried the new improved ones yet, waiting to make sure all the old inventory is gone. The ball is great. I've been using daily for two weeks now and it hasn't lost any air. I am definitely going to buy another. Pro-ball has a great product that they are making better and they are very easy to work with.

I found out you need both feet on the floor. Don’t try to cross your legs.
I replaced my comfy desk chair with this ball. Love it so far- the rubber nubs on the bottom of the cover again my floor mat often make people in my office crack jokes about passing gas. After sitting for an hour my butt seems to get sore so I find I move more with this. Plus the strap on the ball cover is a nice handle to stabilize the ball when you sit or to carry to another area when you need a seat. Would definitely recommend
I really like the stability of this ball. It is amazing how it actually feels as stable as sitting in a chair. A ball without the case provided by ProBody is harder to remain in a stable position. I found it easier to sit on this sitting ball chair for longer periods of time. It was a bit of a challenge at first with placing the deflated ball in the correct position in order to blow it up properly, but once positioned correctly, it worked well!
I started by using a regular yoga ball, my back and neck were hurting from using the computer all day. I really liked being able to rock and roll and bounce and keep moving. Only I didn't like that my yoga ball was ugly, and a bit too squishy. This covered ball is so nice looking and has a bit more stability and all the movement. I am very pleased. Although I am still sore, I am sitting up straighter and moving more, and that will eventually lead to feeling better.
I have been using this gym ball as my study chair and sometimes I do excercise with it too. It has been about a month and so far it works well. The cover has not ripped or broken yet. It was my first gym ball so I was little lost when I try to fill up with air since the instruction just says to use the air pump. You are supposed to remove the plastic piece at the hole and put the piece back after pumping. Other than that, no complaint
I was attracted to this product because of the cover. I bought 2 . They are used as game room seats and screen time seating. My daughter has CP she is 10, we sit on them while doing other activities to practice sub conscious core balance. I love the quality of the non slippery surface as well as the grip texture of the base. Ordering and delivery process and communication was top notch.
