I don't write many reviews, but felt like it is warranted in this case. I've been strength training the past few months and have been on the hunt for a good protein powder. Unfortunately most protein powders upset my stomach due to dairy, artificial sweetners, etc. I recently began using this protein powder and love the taste - I actually look forward to the shakes. Additionally, it's easy on my digestive system. Lastly, this protein powder is less expensive on a per pound basis than some of the other protein powders that I've recently purchased. My only complaint, which is really minor, is that I wasn't able to reseal the bag after use, as the zip lock mechanism was torn from the bag.
This protein is great. I did a lot of research on price... Amount... Ingredients... Etc. Smart 138 is a great balance of everything. The vanilla flavor smells and tastes great. I use this for muscle building and supplementation. I consistently reorder. Great product and I highly recommend. I have not been paid for this review. The fact that it is made in North America and not overseas is very important to me. I mix one scoop with 1 1/2 cups almond milk, 1 tbs. flax seed, 1 tbs. chi seed, 1/2 tsp. of Matcha green tea powder, and 1/2 cup of blueberries.....makes an energizing and healthy breakfast drink.
ALL TIME FAVORITE!! I was trying to find a protein powder without a lot of added junk to it and after too long on Amazon, I FOUND IT! I’m on my 3rd bag! I love blending it with frozen strawberries, almond milk and a little bit of peanut butter to make a PB&J shake! All the different drinks I’ve made with it have tasted like some kind of cake batter and with no added sweetener, I’m not mad at that!

I love this protein powder. I am not vegan but this is the only protein powder with less junk (there isn't dairy, bad sugars, soy, etc..) in it. I love that there are only 3-4 ingredients. I do wish "natural flavors" were listed though. For the price it's the only protein powder I have found that tastes good with minimal ingredients. I have been drinking it with water but today I did whole milk and it was super thick I did have to water it down but it made me really full! I hope they keep making this forever!
Ps. I ordered the chocolate after the vanilla and didn't like the chocolate flavor. My 5 year old does though so she will have the chocolate one. I will stick to buying this in vanilla flavor for me, yum!!!!

A genuine review based completely on my experience.. It is One of the best protein, I have come across.. I have tried many many proteins from other companies and yes all isolates too, but i end up bloating after taking them. Being a hypothyroid ,GERD and Pcos,I usually go through fatigued everymorning and bloaty after every meal. But this protein is not heavy for me and i have felt its easy to digest. Now got my complete nutrition because i am pure vegetarian.. this is one of the best protein. I bought chocolate flavour i like it..I used 1scoop of this with cold milk and home made nut butter. It works best as meal replacer too.. i am happy and satisfied
A long time ago I used to use Whey protein almost every day but it was breaking me out, so I switched to plant-based protein. I have tried a lot of different brands over the years, some expensive, some not, and I have learned that I really just don't like the artificial taste of a lot of them. Finally I decided to just get this one because the ingredients are simple. It's pure and I figured I could also add my own flavors to it. I think this tastes best when mixed into food like oats, pancakes, or baked goods. I don't love mixing it with water and drinking it out of a shaker bottle but if I do, I add a little cocoa powder and stevia. My go-to with this protein is to make chocolate mug cakes in the microwave. I feel like this is the best kind of protein to buy because you can customize it however you want. Yeah, the packaging is annoying af, but I saved one of my old containers that had Women's Best Vegan Protein in it (horrible, don't buy) and put it in there so I'm chilling.
WOW....what an amazing product. Completely smooth texture absolutely no sandy or gritty texture at all, and I only mix with water. The flavor is superb like old fashioned coco. I have even made chocolate protein pancakes with this product .. delicious. Will absolutely be a monthly purchase for me....looking forward to trying the other flavors.
This is... the best protein ever... whey or plant based. Unflavored doesn't exactly mean no taste but when I add just a splash of almond mix it hides the little flavor that it has... very mild and slightly earthy when mixed with only water. Mixability is unmatched. No clumps and I just stir with a spoon. Very find powder which makes sure the shake isn't too thick. I can drink this in one gulp and this doesn't make me uncomfortably full like others. The only drawback is upon arrival the zipper on the bag wouldn't close but I just wiped it with a damp towel and all is well.
Fantastic product.. it does mix a little thicker than the flavored powder. I use it in no bake protein balls, muffins and protein pancakes.. is completely without flavor so it doesn't change anything's taste just adds the protein and aminos..love it.
