These work great! Broken leg and ankle earlier this year and had an extensive need for icing during my recovery and rehab. If you’ve had any experience with gel packs in the past, you may know many don’t work great, possible breaking, flexibility problems, size issues and more are possible. But the biggest issue I’ve run into it many times is the temperature - don’t seem to get cold enough or stay cold long enough. These are awesome in every respect! Great size, revive quickly once returned to the freezer, good flexibility at every stage and actually ARE and STAY nice and cold (for an approprate amount of time of course). I have so many different options of these types of products in my freezer in my search for a great option and now we fight over these two all the time LOL. Heavy use and holding up great to boot!
I love these ice packs - they freeze quickly and hold their temperature for the right amount of time. My only complaint is the bag is too thin and I worry about it breaking under the pressure of icing my back. I would ask the manufacturer to consider a higher density plastic. Because of my concern, I have had to add a zip lock bag to it for safety, but doing so lessens the temperature of the bag.
I already had one of these from years ago, and I had sewed a wrap out of fleece-type material for this size ice pack. After foot/ankle surgery I found that if I folded it in half it fit perfectly to tuck behind my knee to help with post-op swelling. One ice pack will not do as I was constantly having to re-freeze it. I found the same size and bought two more. Now I have three that I rotate and always have a nice cold pack available.
These are great! I had knee surgery and had 4 of these in my freezer that I rotated using 2 at a time. They get super cold and can mold to whatever area you are icing. I put a pillow case between my knee and the packs to prevent frostbite.
Love these ice packs. I have used them in the past when I had PT and I am so happy that I was able to find them again. My whole family uses them for all aches and pains, including headaches.

I have been using this product for quite a few years and the only reason I have to keep buying more is because everyone steals mine. It's the only cold pack you could put in the freezer and take it out, Use your hand to crunch it and it goes into a crunchy gel but is soft enough or even your head. I've tried a lot of cold packs and this is the only one I've found for Everywhere but especially my head.
I had one of these which, after 7 years, leaked and needed replacing. These are very sturdy, get cold quickly, and maintain their flexibility.
Lasts a lot longer than normal Walmart ice packs. I went back and ordered more for the summer.
I learned it is best to handle them along the edges when removing from freezer to wrap in a towel. They are flexible as advertised. The 2 pack was helpful after knee surgery....used both at same time to cover more of the knee.
I don't use these for pain. I use them to stop itching on my arms and they're great! Other gel products have been too thin, so they warm up too fast. These are thicker so they stay cold much longer. They're also wider and longer than others I've used. I'm very happy with this product!
