I received these glasses promptly and they actually have exceeded my expectations. I am very rough with my readers because I take them everywhere with me and I'm on the active side. So I hang them on my shirt neck and The spring hinges come in handy for that, keeping them from falling if I bend over. They are also secured comfortably when I wear them. So far, even with yard and house projects that involve dirt, grease, and all sorts of grime, and crawling through my attic, moving equipment, working with tools, etc. I haven 't put any scratches on the lenses. I've had to clean smudges off all the time and the supplier suggests using the individual bags each set comes in to wipe them off. So I'm happy with them. I can see clearly out of them, they fit nice, and it looks like they'll last longer before they wear out from my "abuse"!
I am wearing the glasses to write this review 😁 when my eye doctor suggested I buy over the counter readers I went out to our local stores and couldn't find +2.25 anywhere so I looked on Amazon and found these. They come 4 in a box, each in their own bag with a draw string closure. I can put them in my purse without them getting scratched. Also receiving 4 pair, I can keep a pair by all the places I need them and not have to search for them.
I was playing with my contacts to see if I wanted to have split prescription or be set for near sighted and use readers. I purchased some nice 1.25 from Costco and they were too powerful, but super nice. I purchased these and debated going 0.5 or 1.0 and split the difference for the 0.75. They work great. The cloth case is great, because I can leave in bags or desk and keep them available and yet clean. The design is functional, if not trendy or 100% fashionable.
For me, the ability to get them in 1.0 and less was the great selling point. Should I ever need the 1.25, I would likely get the more fashionable Costco and also a set of these. Having them in multiple places and not breaking the bank is the key thing.

I have been using cheap reading glasses for over 25 years. The cheap non-prescription glasses I bought would not last long, especially at the hinges (which would always come loose, within a week or two).
