After just one use, I'm already in love with this thing. First of all, it's a great size. I'm kinda tiny in the waist (26") and worried it would be too big as many adjustable things are. But it seems to fit so many sizes and would even fit a child.
Second, I love how I can walk around with it instead of having to sit with it against a chair.
It also holds heat very well. It lasts around 30-40 minutes and I heated it for 2 minutes.
The smell is nice and soothing too. This is perfect if you have chronic low back/lumbar pain and need heat therapy.
It smells kind of weird when heated but I'm not sure how they would get around that. It retains its temperature for the perfect amount of time, but do be careful not to burn yourself if you use it hot. Love that you can use it as an ice or heat pack, and I've used it on everything from a post-surgical abdomen to a foot injury!
Absolutely incredible. I recommend it. I have lower back pain when I stand for a long time or sit on the sofa to watch TV. I was skeptical about this product. I followed the instructions. placed in microwave for 70 second, it came out nicely warm. Placed it on the lower back with the adjustable Velcro belt. Feeling much better now. I highly recommend it ! (not for children).
The attached adjustable Velcro belt makes this microwaveable heating pad a very functional one. I just put in microwave for 2 minutes, put it around my waist or hip and secure with Velcro. It allows me to walk around in the kitchen as well as use it at work and not having to worry about holding the heating pad. I bought 3 more to give out as Christmas gifts.
After having hip and hip area pain for the better part of a year, a good heating pad or freezer pad becomes a prized possession. THIS is a good heating pad. If you have to sit for long periods of time because or your job or anything else, this is great because you can go on with your work and you don't have to get crafty to find a way to keep it in place. It doesn't stay warm as long as another heating pad that I own, but its not a big deal to reheat it and the strap makes it my favorite anyway.

Like this product a lot, great for being able to move around doing things while the Pad is strapped around your waist
being able to use for hot and cold is great, my back feels better after just a couple days of use.
I'm very happy with my purchase of My Heating Pad and have used it pretty much every day since it arrived. It stays hot longer than expected, stays in place, and allows me to walk around the house with it on.
I pulled the muscles in my lower back and spent several days holding a microwave heating pad on my lower back. This one is great because it fits around your waist or lower back and straps on and is so much easier to use. I love it and would highly recommend it for various uses.
At first I thought "Oh my gosh it's huge", and thought I'd be returning it, but it give an awesome back massage if you are sitting up. Don't expect to use it while lying down. I use it almost every day when I get online and it has made a difference for my back.
