This is, by far, the superior "dressing stick" for those of us who can't reach our socks and etc. Unlike the crappy wooden sticks with the screwed in and too flexible "pull on/push off" hook, this holds on, doesn't bend or break, is very well made, and has a thick, non slip grip. Even if you get the wooden stick in a package ("Hip Kit" or other), get this stick. It's worth it. If I were making hip kits, I'd contract with this maker to get this device into my kit, even if it costs a few bucks more.
This is probably more helpful to most others. Value is about right with price. Not sure about how long last but most would use temporarily anyway. Not product issue but with completely blown shoulders - rotator cuffs not repairable - still couldn't use well. Think would be great for someone with one shoulder needing assistance. Would recommend
Handy little tool and the rubber tip on the curved end is there for a good reason.
It makes it possible to get ahold of something...like a sock and the traction the rubber tip provides
comes in handy so you won't lose the grip on what you are trying to pull to you.
I'm in a wheel chair and use these on a regular basis. I have several of them (for different rooms in the house)! If/when the blue tip comes off and I can't glue it back on, I use "rubberized paint" from Amazon (in place of the rubber blue tip) and it works great!! I highly recommend it.
Best dressing aid I've ever used! The rubber-tipped hook will NOT let go until you want it to. I don't need to cry out in a tizzy, for help. I can dress myself again...even leggings. And my shoes. All with this one tool. Liberating.

Love this 2 in 1 dressing stick! I use it to reach my jackets that hang-up on the back of my door, and I love the blue grip on the tip of the hook, it helps with objects that are slippery. The only downside is the stick is a little bit too short if they added another 2-4 inches that would be great!
I thought it might be flimsy and not hold up but it is really strong and I have used it every day for the past month. Good price also.
i am 68 and 100% disabled Vet.......this thing really works and makes things a whole lot better...
Product was just as described, I use it daily to help with shoes, socks and other dressing issues.
For my husband - he likes it.
