Adventure Medical 0006-7085 Ben's 30% Wipes (1-12 Piece Box)

Being pregnant in the age of the Zika virus is pretty scary. I've been advised by my OBGYN to wear 30% DEET every time I'm outside during the summer. I was getting sick of spraying and rubbing in insect repellent every morning before leaving for work, and felt pretty nauseated from the other insect repellents sprays with strong floral/fruit scent to them. DEET does have a strong scent to it, but it's better than smelling like potpourri. The wipes are much faster to apply than the spray, and have made getting ready in the morning much easier.

This is the best insect repellent for travelers! It comes as wipes so no more worries about spills and getting it pass the TSA checkpoint as carryon item. Took the wipes for Costa Rica trips as I planned on going into the rainforests. The wipes contains deed but it doesn't smell like one. The wipes is not sticky either so I layered it on top of my sunblock. I only need one wipe to cover almost my entire body. I can tell it works because I got bit by mosquitos when I forgot putting it on. Mosquitos can bit through leggings so be sure to get yourself covered. Love this product! Will buy again and recommend to others.

I like the idea of wipes over sprays because you can put it only where you need it. My friend and I used them for a weekend camping trip in June right by a river and we didn't get a single bite. It's not sticky or greasy but, like any bug repellent, you do feel like you want to wash it off at the end of the day. Also, it didn't smell bad.

I stash these things all over the place: my truck, my backpack and even the handlebar bag of my bicycle. They come in handy and seem to work well keeping the skeeters away.

UPDATE: After using these for a while now, I have two things to note. First, they work great at keeping the critters off.
However, be careful with them. I found that they seem to interact with certain types of plastic. (That's not unique to this product. Other insect repellents do, too.) I recently used one and naturally got the stuff on my hand. I now have some permanent finger prints on my Camelbak water bottle. I now carry some wipes to clean my hands after I use these.

I always have a few of these in my purse when I go to Asia for work, or in the summer. I hate mosquitoes and they love me. I have tried the natural stuff and it doesn't repel mosquitoes (on me). These work. The only thing I like better is Boots tropical strength mosquito repellent but I don't think they sell that in the US.

Description

Ben's 30 Tick & Insect Repellent offers protection from ticks and insects that may carry West Nile Virus (WNV), Lyme disease, Malaria, Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE), and other infectious diseases. Providing up to 8 hours of effective protection, Ben's 30's unique formula is made to evaporate slowly - so repellent stays on longer with little absorption into the skin. Individually wrapped wipes let you control the amount and location of repellent to apply.

Purchased these for a trip to the Dominican Republic and they worked well. Didn't have to worry about putting them in with my liquids and once we arrived, I was able to keep several of these in a small bag that I cared with me. If we got to an area with mosquitoes, we could get these out quickly and applied. I shared them with some friends also. I plan to take these kayaking also since they make it very easy to apply without having to have another bottle rolling around in my kayak

Ben's Wipes are the best I've found, hands down. I keep a few packs in my car, a few in my travel kit, a few in my EDC. Texas has mosquitoes, for sure, but I find them nearly everywhere I travel. Always happy to have one available when the weather's warm and/or humid. The packs do dry out after a few years, but I use all twelve long before they expire. I also keep a Ben's spray bottle in my garage and on the back patio. Little buggers just won't leave me alone! They do when I rub this product on my skin, and for that I am thankful.

Super easy to use and effective. I used them on a trip to Vietnam and got zero mosquito bites. I love how they just wipe on and there is no spray mess and you can be precise with the application.

Being highly allergic to mosquitos, having repellant on hand is mandatory. These are great to carry in your purse or briefcase so you can always have them with you - and they work. Can't count the times that I've been unexpectedly outside and needed protection. Additionally, they are great for travel (no worries about TSA liquid limits and pressurized cans). I use them all the time.

It's efficient, gives you complete coverage where you want it and you don't have to inhale the aerosol over-spray from a spray can. Easy to carry with you for travel or camping. I traveled to Africa and S.E. Asia where mosquitoes are a concern and didn't get bit. And, they don't spoil. Highly recommend this. I also had Insect Shield overshirt and pants for extra precaution.
