I like to buy fresh bakery bread but sandwich-size Ziplock freezer bags don't exist. These work perfectly. I first freeze the bread slices, separated, on a cutting board for an hour or two before putting two slices in each bag (this keeps them from sticking together). I hang the used bags to dry on my Multi-Purpose Drying Rack. Freezer bags can be washed and reused so can actually be cheaper than the non-freezer versions.
Handy for all kinds of storage (such as parts, etc.) not just food.
Pint size has been hard to find - great for freeing smaller food portions.
I buy meat in large packages from COSTCO. These are the perfect size for freezing 1 or 2 portion servings and write the wt on the baggy. I then toss in gallon freezer bags to keep up with when I need to re-purchase. Love having pre-cooked and drained ground hamburger, so easy to grab a baggy and defrost.
Works great for putting a cell phone in during a bath or some other watery activity. Fit's an iPhone 7 Plus with case just right and the iPhone will functions well through the plastic.
Oh, and it works great for good :)
It seems big box stores don't carry this size Ziploc anymore. I travel a lot. Since we can't carry on our liquids, we must pack them in our checked luggage. I take travel sized package of cosmetics and first aid supplies in these pint sized Ziplocs. They are perfect for this use. If anything breaks or spills, the contents are contained in the Ziploc and don't ruin the rest of my things. I use larger size Ziplocs for packing everything. That way I can see what is in them and so can TSA if my bag is the one that they choose to search. The larger ones keep my clothes nicely folded and easy to find. Can't find these in stores & was grateful to find them here. They are a perfect size for small amounts of foods you want to freeze.
The size is really good and they are hard to find locally. Only problem is that the first box, you had to be careful because when you put something into the bag, the side would tear all the way down. I have been very careful with the second box and so far, they have been okay.
Exactly what I was looking for since this size is hard to find in a lot of grocery stores, but work great for freezing smaller amounts.
These are a must have for anyone who likes to put up fresh veggies and fruit in the freezer for the upcoming winter months. I wish I could find them in the supermarket or somewhere locally but unfortunately I've only found them here on Amazon. The price is worth it so as not to have your fresh food get freezer burn. Great size too.
