My wife loves these clay pouch heating pads. She uses them every day on her stomach for either upset tummy or painful cramps. You just pop this whole thing in the microwave for 1 to 1.5 minutes and it'll be nice and hot for a couple hours. The only bad things about this product is that it degrades from squishy clay into hard lumps over like a year's time (you have to buy a new one), and that it's surprisingly consistent at getting the TSA to search your checked baggage if you take it on a flight...we always find a little "the TSA has been digging in your schit" ticket when we pick up our bags...like EVERY TIME. Finally, not sure if this is latest version different from our previous version, but it's much bigger than the normal ones. But, it was actually the smallest option available on amazon...I'll attach some photos. If this rambling review has been helpful for you, then I'm happy.
This is my second Thermipaq purchase. Wanted the larger size for my knee which works great. Having used many different kinds of cold packs, Thermipaq is the best I've found. Very pleased that it stays cold longer than similar products. It provides deep, penetrating cold and yet never feels so cold that it hurts. It's flexible, the cover fits well, is comfortably soft, and the Velcro strap holds it securely in place. There is no sweating or dripping.
Not my first Thermipaq, so I continue to find ut useful and my favorite for my lower back. Older versions of this product also worked as "moist heat" if placed in the microwave; I was surprised to find this is only for cold usage.
I have arthritis, and these wraps are fantastic for my hands and my back. I pop them in the microwave for 1 minute 18 seconds (if you overheat, they will pop), and they're good for an hour or more. We use them to heat other things (subcutaneous fluids for a cat), and they do it consistently and well.
Like every good thing, though, they've become harder to find.
We own 2 of these and when my Mother-in-law injured her knee I came on here to order her one. I think we own the ones you can microwave too, but this is just the cold pack one? Either way, she loves it, and we love ours. The clay filling just bends around things better then gel filling in other ice packs.

These are the best heat/ice packs I've found to date. I have 2 of them and use them all the time. I had one that was over 10 years old until lost it in a move and had to replace.
This cold pack is excellent. Holds the temperature for a very long time, surprisingly so, given how thin it is. I like it because it's a little more firm than another one I have (different brand) and seems to have a more therapeutic effect. Seems to be well made too. Good product - highly recommended.
Arrived as expected. I already have one, needed another. The clay cooling is great, and the strap helps immensely when icing a knee.
