
My husband had surgery on his ankles and this ice pack was almost perfect for icing his foot. It does get a little stiffer right out of the freezer than he would have liked but if you mold it with your hands first, it will fit better. It's very durable and has Velcro to tighten it down to where you need it. It works really well and he wished he would have had it when he had surgery in his other ankle.
I had major ankle surgery in June so icing is important. I struggled with normal flat gel ice packs until I found this form-fit pack. It works well. My only issue with it is the gel they used is not as flexible when frozen than some of the other ice packs we have.
It does what it says, wrapped around my whole ankle and feet when my ankle was broken. I needed something to wrapped my whole feet to my ankle, while elevating my feet up. Can't complain, my feet are small and I think it'll fit to a size 12 due to the availability of the straps. But it held up and saved me time. Took me a while to figure how to wrapped it up on me.

You can heat it for 10 seconds at about 450W and start again as much as necessary. Be careful as a too long exposure will make explode the ice pack.
